About the Central Library

Our Collection

The Central Library holds the university's principal collection of bare acts and annotated statutes, standard commentaries, textbooks, treatises, dictionaries and encyclopedias of law. The law reports section maintains bound volumes of the leading Pakistani reports — PLD, SCMR, CLC, YLR, MLD and PCr.LJ — alongside selected foreign and international series.

Beyond the law shelves, the collection has grown with the university: dedicated holdings in criminology, criminal justice, penology and forensic studies serve the Department of Criminology, while management, accounting, finance, marketing, economics and organisational behaviour titles support the Department of Business Administration. English language, research methodology and general reference works round out the reading room.

A dedicated research shelf preserves the theses, dissertations and project reports of the university's own graduates, and the Digital Library extends the collection with e-books, PDFs and curated links to official legal databases.
